8:00 a.m. Golf - Mount Washington Course

The 18-hole Mount Washington Course was designed by legendary Scottish Architect Donald Ross and was completed in 1915. This Par 71 course has hosted four New Hampshire Opens.

Reopened on August 1, 2008, the Mount Washington Course has been restored to Donald Ross’ original plans by noted golf course architect  Brian Silva. Includes bunkers crafted in a classic flair and infinite varieties of recovery shots in the closely cropped areas around the putting greens. The par-five 11th hole and the par-three 5th hole feature stunning views of The Mount Washington Hotel and surrounding mountains. The Mount Washington Course was voted “Best Course You Can Play” in NH in both 2009 and 2010!

Spa For more than a century, guests have retreated to Mount Washington Resort for the fresh mountain air and pristine natural landscape. With nearly 800,000 acres of White Mountain National Forest to nourish the body and  feed the soul, it’s the perfect setting for The Spa.

Bretton Woods Canopy Tour Located right here in Bretton Woods, NH, and descending over 1000 feet of elevation, the tour takes nature-lovers and thrill-seekers across a series of tree-top zip lines, and is the longest zip line canopy tour in New England and one of the longest canopy tours in the continental United States! High-flying suspension bridges and hiking trails connect the zip lines, and the tour concludes with the Williwaw Racing Zip, a dual, side-by-side zip line leading right into the Bretton Woods base area!

Williwaw Racing Zip The Williwaw Racing Zip is a great way to sample the last zip line of the Canopy Tour and is a thrilling ride on its own. One ride takes about 20 minutes, including getting harnessed up, transported to the top and getting unharnessed. Plus - you may take multiple rides at a reduced rate, provided you stay in your harness and do your rides in immediate succession!

Summer Fun The Resort is set amidst nearly 800,000 acres of White Mountain National Forest, offering the opportunity to enjoy any number of outdoor activities from spring through fall, including mountain biking, horseback riding, hiking/walking, fly fishing, rock climbing and just plain exploring!

The PHCC Educational Foundation's Understanding Overhead program is now available for sale. This excellent tool helps users to calculate a selling price that covers all their costs of doing business and provides the net profit percentage they desire.

The Overhead CD comes loaded with Excel spreadsheets that take users through the steps of calculating their Direct Labor Costs (for up to 10 technicians per company or department), Overhead Costs, Break-Even Rate, Profitable Selling Price, Monthly & Annual Net Profit, and Target Revenue & Profit Goals.

The CD includes narrated video tutorials to guide users through how to use the worksheets and a printed guide with additional instructions and examples. Extra tools on the CD include a Lost Time to Dollars productivity calculator and a Financial Ratios calculator to help you analyze & compare your financials against industry averages.

Business owners can use the spreadsheets in a company meeting to demonstrate to employees the true costs of doing business and why all that money they collect from customers isn't going into the owner's pocket!

PHCC chapters are encouraged to give an overview of the program at local chapter meetings to help new or small business owner members gain better control over their pricing policies. The CDs can also be used as member recruitment or retention gifts by your chapter.

The CD is available for sale through the PHCC website at www.phccweb.org,

item #9310. PHCC member pricing is $99, or $129 for non-PHCC members. Multiple copy discounts are available for PHCC chapters or other groups. Contact John Zink at the PHCC Educational Foundation for details at (800)533-7694.
